Little weather report: It's brutally cold out there folks in North Central Tejas- I kid you not. If we get any precipitation we're in trouble. I'm breaking out the fake fire logs, board games and hot chocolate for teenagers and making BBQ sandwiches and pinto beans for everybody. Don't even have the heart to kick the dumb dog out. Wish you were here. Yes, especially you.

You know, it IS cold as hell out there....I'm annoyed with NISD, however. They called a Snow Day! What?? Where is the snow? Ice? Nada. Just cold. With three little kids upstairs cleaning. =)

Maybe they'll be forced to attend on MLK Day now.

In north FTW, the precip was, how you say, pffft?

I had been in a magnificent slumber until I rudely awakened from a dream in which I was at some kind of pageant, proudly watching my daughter promenade through a garden that we'd planted together and which had blossomed beautifully. Then some announcer voice introduces her mother and Mr. [name unintelligible in my dream], "who fell madly in love four years ago" (we've only been divorced two years). I awoke startled.

Anyway, I managed to catch a few more Zzz before the alarm rang and I called my office hotline (Hello, Commissioner Gordon?) several times to see if our office was opening or not. Even though my son who attends the new school near Obi, my son who attends the district's other HS, and my daughter all had classes cancelled, no closure notice from my workplace. Bummer.

But getting to work was a breeze. Am not looking forward to tomorrow's temps though...

AnO- Cleaning? Kids? Does not compute- super mom= super kids I spose.

Ad Roc- Would have only been better if you'd been here!

M Queen- That makes two of us- there's a start. Let's start a petition, 'no more arctic weather in Texas'.

Don- Crazy dream- sounds like something I'd dream- except I'd be naked.

G String- There's a positive side to that- it was far from "arctic conditions" here in the house love built!
