Monday's Missives

My new set of wheels to replace Turdbomb.

  • Greatest headline I've seen in a while- Police: Homeless man hid stolen ferret in pants. Suspect faces theft, battery charges for dangerously wielding animal. AP

  • "A former “Jerry Springer Show” producer, Bobby Goldstein, told In Touch magazine that he had a pilot, “Jon - Kate = Jon + Octomom” in the works and that Gosselin was onboard. According to a press release In Touch obtained, Goldstein’s show would follow Gosselin as “he contemplates what hooking up with Octomom could really be like.” msnbc the scoop

  • NOOOOOOOOooooooo!

  • I'm literally clawing my eyes out for reading that and hitting myself in the head with a coffee cup in hope of inducing a memory erasing traumatic brain injury.

  • We are doomed.

  • Finally took the tent down- want to figure out something semi permanent we can sleep in whenever the mood strikes.

  • A heavy duty tipi maybe?

  • The neighbors love me- that might challenge their patience though.

  • Six cinnamon rolls and about eleven cups of coffee- it's what's for breakfast.

  • Zac is starting gymnastics tonight, it's the type that requires parental involvement.

  • Groan.

Say NO to anything Jon and Kate...

All my lads started gymnasics when tots, its called Tumble Tots over here, only two went on to do nasics for a few more years, then quit, but funny Jacob is now the most amazing trampolinist...and our Sam is an extreme skateboarder.. I doubt though that Tumble Tots had anything to do with it lol

Oh buy a WigWam or a Yut our Tom has just come back from camping in the Lake District at this time of year in a Yut its like a bedowin(sp) tent thingie with logburning stove and only lit by candles and lanterns in the middle of a 4,000 acrea of forest..... it was spookie at night lmfao

*removing the imbeded coffee cup from your skull and just paper macheing over the hole :)

Hope your little button will have fun at gym tonight, you wont LOL except your fun will come from the love as you watch you little button enjoy himself..

Hang in there, dad. The little guy will remember these things forever. Your patience and loyalty will improve his emotional state forever. Maybe through several family generations.

Love the humor. Thanks!

I agree with Marms about the yurts, but they are a bit time consuming to put up all the strips.

Am currently thinking of putting up the King Canopy or Gothic Arch canopy - those 10x20 structures that are fairly easy to assemble. Most nowadays come with wall panels (tarps) that attach with velcro. It's enough structure and overhead to keep dry, but still enjoy the outdoors. I just need to remember to anchor it well...

I wouldn't stop with banning just Jon & Octo - I think I could almost live without TV altogether ("[We] think [you] could just about live without TV..." [muted rim-shot]) Only watched about an hour and a half all weekend.

I bet you totally enjoyed that gymnastics class with your son! You seem to enjoy just about anything as long as one of your kids are with you! What a great testament to the kind of Dad you are! ( Oh regardless of the cars you seem to enjoy flaunting , is that child-safe?)
