Bin Laden Still Continues To Sleep With Teh Fishes And I'm About To Soak My Aching Back In A Nice Warm Tub- The Saturday Edition

Part of this thing is not like the others...

There were nearly 100 operators involved in the assault phase of the mission.

It is absolutely impossible that parts of the Pak intelligence services did not know OBL was in their country- impossible.

It seems from a terrorist to a religious nut if the US Government is intent on killing you, your home will be called a compound and/or a lair.

  • Dogs in our military have always received lots of attention: I present to you Cats Of War.

  • A close call for American born terrorist Awlaki in Yemen.

  • The information that led to OBL's death came from waterboarding KSM- during one of 183 sessions.

  • A Biography biography of OBL.

  • OBL's last will and testament.

  • The search for him may have cost us 3 trillion dollars.

  • Hit Team, an appellation some writers are using for the operators on SEAL Team Six is one I can assure you those guys dearly love. One they would hate- assassination squad.

  • One more reason to know Michael Moore is not only mentally retarded, but mentally ill.

  • Some myths surrounding OBL.

  • Aftermath of raid in pictures.

  • Anybody could have guessed stealth tech would have trickled down to operational helicopters, but you simply had to know there were some stealth enabled birds around after Comanche was cancelled. The Comanche program was cancelled in 2004, but not without having some prototypes up and the tech proven.

  • I hope our government was prepared for every fool in association with OBL to alter their movements after the raid in ways that would ID them and make them accessible to air strikes, Hellfires and/or raids wherever they were in the world. Not only would this be practical- any misses or collateral damage would be minimised by the coverage of OBL's death.

  • A good demonstration of how people in the west process information differently from people other regions can be shown by looking at the governments announcements- from the first to most recent regarding that mission. A Westerner looks at the information as a flow that would naturally evolve as more in formation comes to light. We would say,"Naturally, the information is going to change- it was dark, there were nearly a hundred people involved, there was gunfire. It's war. A person from the Middle East would see any deviation from the first published reports or reports that differ from most trusted sources and even sources that differ from their world view as evidence of conspiracy.

  • I wonder what they weighted the shroud and body bag covering Osama's corpse down with?

  • Also, I wonder what was the last thing that went through his mind before he died?

  • I mean- besides 77 grains of copper jacketed lead.

  • My guess is, What is this?! I need a SEAL Team in my bedroom like I need a hole in the head! Borrowed from Dave Letterman's Top Ten List.

A well-placed source insists that OBL was not so much trying to resist capture as he was trying to postpone his demise until after Sunday night's episode of Desperate Housewives.
