Well, I used to babysit (skunk-sit?) for my friends two baby skunks (well teenagers really) and I would have to take them over to Martha's Vinyard on leashes on the Ferry to bring them home to him and people were soo funny when they went to pat the cute puppies and realized they were skunks! was a riot! What a great summer I had that year! I will have to dig up the pictures...
I would of LOVED a skunk LOL.... Im serious.... me and me brother nicked a baby owl from its nest when we was about 8 and 10 (I know I know how dreadful :( ) and we raised it in our garden in a rabbit hutch and tried to train it in me fathers shed LMFAO...... I use to have to go to the butchers and get free lites (which is the lining of a cows stomach) to feed it....... we had it about a year before my mother found out and made us release it with a beating so much that I couldnt go to school for a week cos of the bruises LOL...... the poor owl sat on our house roof for over a week before it flew off.......
maybe thats why I have such a friendship with Janet :)

With all the rain lately my DOGS smell like skunks... does that count?
When I was a young girl, my family had a descented pet skunk named Fabrege. Fabrege was great fun and acted like a cross between a cat and a dog. She used a litter pan but also could be walked with a leash and harness.
