Were there forward spotters who called in the location - just trying to figure how do you ID and IED at that distance?
A guy in my office Saturday was telling me he shoots .50 competitively at 1000 yds @ Whittington and somewhere in Louisiana.
A man with some miles on him, he related being plucked from a jungle firefight/mortar attack in SEA, and being spit on by a hippie in an airport concourse less than 24 hours later. Says instinct kicked in and he was well on his way to turning said hippie purple when his buddies loosed his grip on the peacenik.
