A Pig And Its Boy

My son showing his pig Pinky Tuscadero at his schools show. He placed 3rd out of I think 15 animals in his first show. He is staying tonight in a tent at the Sheriffs Posse Grounds where tomorrows show will be held. Can't wait- so proud. I took him some supplies earlier today. He was sitting at a table under a shade shelter with some girl. He shooed me off real quick after taking the supplies- wonder what that was all about?

What a great result, you must be proud, I love watching the pig events at our British country shows, the Dorchester Show was always me favourite as it had loads and loads of animals.... I miss those days....

And what that is about is he is beginning on the road to becoming a man..... Im on my fourth road with my fourth son lol...... and its hard :)-not for him, but for me his mummy lol

I'm sure they were just discussing pork belly futures.

Congrats to him for placing!

Dad your just not that cool. Mr. Accomplice used to show pigs in HS with FHA. I assume Micah will too when he gets older.

This isn't really a comment about this post, just wanted to tell you thank for understanding my post. You are a good to not only see things in yourself but to also be able to see things through the eyes of others.

On another note... I forgot to put the H chupa... sorry about!

Oh, what fun it must have been to be at the show! While never a participant, I loved going to these events in the small town I grew up in.

No worries,Dad, about the young lady. They're just exchanging recipes for pork chili verde.

marmsie- the pig he raised is a yorkshire which has its origins in jolly old england of course.

acco- make SURE micah showsit will be good fore all of you siblings and dad since he showed as a youngster. i dont know if it's just our school or an ffa thing in general but, there is supposed to be a good scholarship for kids that show all 4 years.
