My buck fifty score from the pawn shop. It along with Night at the Roxbury, Big Lebowski and Kingpin are some of the funniest movies ever made (I think we all can safely agree on the correctness of that assessment). They have Blu rays for 3 buck there now so I suppose this may be among the last DVDs I ever buy.

Oddly, I have never seen any of those movies.

Of those, I probably should see Groundhog Day (even though I have many times used the premise as a punch-line), as I generally like Billy Murray.

Runner up would probably be Kingpin (which, until your post, I'd never heard of), also because of Murray, and Randy Quaid. Harrelson I can take or leave.

Lebowski - I dunno. I'm pretty laissez-faire when it comes to people's musical tastes, but not sure I would abide the Dude dissing on the Eagles. Although, in his defense, Peaceful Easy Feeling (not their best work) was playing, and Jeff Bridges doesn't actually hate the Eagles.

I don't think I could sit through Roxbury. The premise was cute a few times on SNL, but I'm thinking it'd wear thin quickly. Ditto for Ferrell. He killed on SNL's BÖC, Jeopardy, and music teacher sketches, and with his impressions of GWB, Hussein, and Janet Reno, but there were almost as many others that were lame. Elf is his only movie I've seen.

Hey Don- Groundhog Day was an instant classic. When you watch it you will know people will still be watching it 50 years from now.
Harrelson stole the show as he will your heart in Kingpin- even if you are not a big Woody fan.
Lebowski- watch it and I predict it will be among your faves.
Roxbury is the one I will say you won't hate and will at least say, Yeah, it had its moments but would also need to like the skits it is based on, the characters and be into ridiculous comedy. It is probably not too great if not into the actors, characters and skits the movie is based on...
