Wednesday's Digressions
| The ole F1 |
- I like the Next Blog forays but, recently found one that was very disturbing. It involved animals, women, children and sex. Very sad.
- There was an older guy when I was a lot younger who was known for supposedly his mother died because of an abdominal infection caused by his father having sex with a horse and then having sex with the guy's mother. I had always dismissed it as a cruel rumor- until I left home and our paths crossed somehow- we actually became friends. It came out in a, You think that's bad. kind of statement.
- Yeah, you still got me beat on that one homes.
- Yes, he literally said, My dad would go down to the barn and screw the mares. One time he came home and had sex with my mom. She developed peritonitis and died a week later.
The Timberline SQ2 is perfect- it vents like crazy and with a footprint you can light set it and it weighs only 4 pounds
My field notes. Some day they will be a national archival treasure.
Witches log. It still wasn't burned by the time we left- after a half a liter of stove fuel and pounds of tinder and two concerted efforts to get it to light and it was a dry as a bone.
Sun bleached turtle shell frags.
A wonderful beverage. Find it in your grocers awesome section.
- I'm really not supposed to do that but I will for you because you are from Iraq. what I recently said to a patient.
- Even more recently (today is 09/19/2014) I accidentally hit on an Iraqi patient. She had finished everything required of her and said, Well I guess I'll never see you again. I replied, Maybe not. Who knows?! She whipped around and said Oh, good- you have my number -right?
- Get away from me you little devil.
FG: Oh, help him Kevin he's stuck! He's dead baby. No, no he's moving. Help him he's stuck!
Dutifully I pulled him out so she could see he was dead as a hammer.
I don't remember what these are called but if you rub a handful on dead fish stinking hands it gets the smell off pretty well. - Today I am home laying out from work. Nat Geo has a show on about World's Deadliest. I am drinking some fancy pants coffee. I won't say all is good, as I feel terrible but it could be worse.
- Every day you wake up exchanging gases, have food stuffs to process for fuel and you can void your wastes is a good day I always say.

Next Blog Foray
"I started to play guitar, when i was only 9 years old, my father gave me the acoustic guitar. I always enjoyed that strange music of my father, like rock progressive; then i found the position of the notes in the guitar. When i was 15 years old, i got my first electric guitar, it was awesome, i discovered new sounds, so I began to use my influence, is the way to improve my creativity. In this case it was metal! the new musical age of my youth. As soon as i learned guitar lessons ; i studied in a high school music. I didn't know how to play the piano, but the teachers gave me piano lessons , it was interesting for me .Now a days, i play the bass guitar with my band but i don't forget the guitar and piano lessons. Is the way to survivor for me; sometimes I practice the piano because I don´t have one. But always I practice the electric guitar, is the first instrument that I learned to play. As I learned to play guitar, then I played the bass, is similar than the guitar but in this case you have only four chords, the sound is more low heavy and you play the main melody in order to the guitar can improve the passages. We practiced on weekends and sometimes we play in others places of the country. We like to meet new peolpe and diferent places, by the way,for these months we get a tour in diferents dates. I hope so it will be fun je. "

A Day For The Ages"I'm really not one for encouraging politicians on any level but I really do hope being the first black president is just an after though in Barack Obama's carrier. Measured against the task of re-instituting the faith of his countrymen in the 'American dream' and stabilizing not only the US but the world's economy... good luck buddy! "

From The Next Blog Button
Name: KOAKIRA
Location: East Timor
"I think positively comfortably everything."
I like KOAKIRAS outlook, it really pumped me up and encouraged me with its simplicity so I wanted to spotlite his blog here with his picture. I saved his pic and then looked for it by scanning my pictures and my documents. I didn't see it so I used search with the file name I know I gave it- after 10 minutes (literally) of allowing the search to continue I gave up and Xd out of it. That's crazy! How could it take so long? I never find anything (well hardly) when I use windows search for files.
I'm bummed again.
Thanks for the effort KOAKIRA, you looked like a nice guy, sorry I can't share you with my legions of faithful readers. Come see me in Decatur, America sometime.

From Next Blog Button Meet SKULL

The idea of skull was born in 1998 by Hernan casas (bass) and Frank's duque (vocals)Influenced by: Motörhead, Venom, Exodus, Bulldozer, Voivod, the NWOBHM and 70's rock n' roll bands. They began to look for a guitar player that should be a mad man to give the spikier and wild sound they wanted to play. The searching result was a music student named Igor, who immediately captured the idea and had no trouble with the songs. The sound of his distortion and his fasts skills funded him in the band. After a few months Frank's had to leave the band the vocal lines were taken by Hernan, who already knew the songs. Igor and Hernan were playing, composing and writing pure speed metal pieces. In December of 2002 after seeing a few drummers they met German who was playing in a concert with other band. The line up got solid after some trials and the powerful engine the band needed was installed, giving full speed to the demential sound. The band had the chance to play live on March of 2003. Cause of their different sound Skull is one of the few bands that wants to make music in the old way: heavy, wild and raw, riffs full of rock n' roll dives, distorted basses give Loaded and harsh backgrounds, drums that combust like turbo charged V8 engine, guitars full of bright perforate like bullets and aggressive voices not guttural neither lyrical complete the metal machine that talks about violence, aggression, human decadence and war. What you have here is a true metal band that makes music with their blood, honest and real...speed metal from the heart. After travelling through some cities skull has released their first demo tape “beer metal spikes”, which already has been edited by Utterly Somber (U.S.A), with two live bonus tracks. Also the vinyl Thrash Metal Blitzkrieg of the German zine Death Strike where skull has recorded an exclusive song named “Insurrector” and there's no doubt that has banged the head of the ones have heard it. Recently the Japanese Death Thrash Armageddon has been in charge to show the Skull's power in a rehearsal named “Menace From The Third World” with new compositions and the...
