If my dad has hospice at home right now, and within the past few days began throwing up everything (advanced lymphoma), including fluids, will he be able to get IV fluids? He is due to check into the VA inpatient hospice tomorrow, Friday. Will he be able to get IV fluids in there? Or will he die of dehydration within a few days?
Is there any way we can cheat and get him an IV? If we did that would they kick him out of hospice?
Thanks for your advice. Please comment on my blog so I see your answer right away.
