Memorial Day

SSGT. Berry We were not friends although interestingly two of my best friends were his also. I only met him once. He must have touched a lot of people though. I'll never forget the utter look of sadness, the look of being absolutely stunned on so many soldiers faces in the days after his death.

His loss came so close to us getting home- so tragic.

A good man- something I heard over and over in relation to him.
