Um, yeah, I'm not sure I made out all the lyrics...
Jack Benny. I've become hooked on classic radio programs while commuting and Benny was a freaking genius. I've learned so much listening to his old shows and the broad effect they had. For instance, I never knew Mel Blanc was a member of his troupe and did multiple characters/sound effects. His shows are 30 minutes and I listen to 2 every day on the drive home using Old Time Radio Player app on my phone. There's other shows like Box 13 and X Minus One that are excellent theater of the mind. Wish I had access to this when I was driving crosscountry.
He yall: Don- not for everybody. Heck- not even for ME every day.
R: Weird I have been listening/watching to a lot of JB and Jimmy Durante.
