- I've never met a white person named Washington.
- George Lopez although the most unfunny comedian in the world- is surprisingly easy to lip read.
- An old platoon sergeant flew medevac missions in Vietnam. He said 90 percent of all wounded they picked up were hit from the knees above- the take away being if in combat and you're somewhere at knee level or below when metal is flying around at high velocities you're probably going to be OK.
- When someone on hearing another person is a teacher says,"Well, you know what they say- those who can't do- teach." I'm always pretty sure they're retarded.
- I probably use the word retarded too much.
- The staggering number of people who believe: alien visitations and abductions and a conspiracy behind the JFK assassination are true and that these same people as jurists have (especially in my state) the power of life and death over other citizens chills my blood.
- To be considered for Senate or Congressional office people should have a law degree and a minor in economics wouldn't hurt.
- During Mark Twain's time Australia was referred to as Australasia and Hindu was spelled Hindoo.

Everything I Know Part 1

Friday's Dispatch
See the Unbelievable Mystery Hole! Thanks, but no thanks.
- An Oasis cover of Helter Skelter live- good stuff. One of them must have died, or they are both fighting again or they have a new album or something- I haven't heard anything about them in years and over past few days have several different songs on multiple stations.
- I hate the new phone, it takes forever to get a text message out and when I do it's garbled gibberrish- can't get used to it to save my life.
- It's been unbelievably pretty outside for the past few days.
- "We must envelope our enemies in a dense fog to prevent our enemies from learning anything about us." Kim Juing Il, leader of North Korea- how retarded.
- I haven't heard anything from anyone in my class in years.
- Last Christmas was great for me and I received exactly two small presents- literally as I took it, tokens of affection.
- We really, really need to consider ways to involve ourselves in the Libyan revolution- at least a no fly zone. There were (are?) Americans trapped at the port who couldn't get out for days. It could have been doable with limited risk and it would have maybe just been the right thing to do. We have hinted too many times we'd help a people if they'd rise up and demand democracy and then turned a blind eye.

Zacism
"I'm not a tottler or a baby- I'm a grownup!" His response to hearing me ask how he would be classified at his age.
Thursday's Thoughts
- Diabetes costs this country 174 billion dollars a year- crazy.
- I'll admit to being a little jealous in the past when patients brag on their 60 year wedding anniversaries knowing that I would never have the opportunity for same, but I'm OK with it now- it's not like it's a competition or something.
- When I was a kid we were always tormented by the sex education that was always rumored to be right around the corner as we advanced through the grades.
- Overhead 2 women talking yesterday about what an epic love affair Spencer Tracy and Audrey Hepburn had.
- "Sometimes you have to make yourself breathe deep, get out of bed and put one foot in front of the other and make yourself do the normal things you would do even if don't want to then pretty soon those little things will take care of themselves again.." The best I could do for someone recently when they were overwhelmed and asked what they should do.
- Haven't been keeping up with the ole blob here lately. Don't worry though keep coming back, I've made a ton of notes and I'm coming back- bigger, better and blacker than ever before. I'll be talking about life, love, loss, death, murder and betrayal- you know standard fare.
- Flight From Death: The Quest For Immortality- Watch this movie about death and dying. I promise it will change your life like few movies you have ever seen.
- Trying to undo these crazy dots was giving me a headache so I quit.
