When I saw the post title, my first thought was, "there better be pictures." You didn't disappoint. Lovely kids. I hope they are enjoying their new school supplies. My kids love shopping for back to school.

anon- yes, your right we look a LOT alike! honestly though he is beeter looking than i was- the lucky dog. when my mom would see baby pics of him she assumed (and would nearly argue) that it was me. some of them its very hard to tell the difference.

opus- yes as frustrating as school shopping can be it's still fun in the end and they love their stuff. thanks. as i often say "i don't get a lot of things right in this world- but, i make great looking kids!"

Compulsary school finishes here the June children turn 16... then its off to college or work....

Jacob will be studying Arboriculture (thats probably not spelt right lol)Forest Management, and all aspects of woodland work... 3 years it will take him, unless we move to the states during that time lol... its the best land based college in the country, we are just lucky that I suppose its fairly local only an hour and halfish away.... except if the bus went the back lanes it would only take 40 minutes lol sods law right :) - he gets his GCSE exam results tomorrow with the rest of the country, but after extensive interviews and hands on days at the college (luckily before I went into hospital) they was so impressed with him, ability, passion, empathy to those that struggled with tasks, enthusiasum etc, they have already given him his place regardless of his results, and if he dont quite get what was needed they will help him retake them in the coming year whilst on the course....... except, he will fly tomorrow with his results :)...... thats my baby LOL....

so.... see your little baby.... time will soon pass and you will be standing where I am, wondering where the years have all gone, and hoping you have been enough, cos thats what I hope more then anything, that on my own, Ive been enough...

ok shutting up now lol sorry..
