- My oldest got suspended from school for a day for igniting a can of body spray and waving it around the locker room like a flamethrower. My initial reaction?
- Awesome!
- Then I realized I'm The Man now and that was not the proper response; next thought?
- Cool!
- There were 13 ducks on the pond this morning.
- R Lee Ermys show Mail Call is on Hulu now.
- Oorah!
- Watched part of Support Your Local Gunfighter last night- still very funny and a reminder of simpler times.
- When I attempted to put gunfighter in the label box it came out gnufighter.

Man, I can't wait until my kids figure that crap out.
Shark, nah this was the first thing I came to in my files that sort of illustrated school response to behavior- don't know where I got it but, you did remind me of why I had it in the first place.
Oh, and accomplice , yeah, it' a real ummm- blessing I can assure you!
Boy, I learned the first year I taught not to argue with a kid who challenged me when I stated something as "fact". It's better for all to stop and look for the answer, or,if the kid is a peretual time waster, agree that I could be wrong and have him (it's almost NEVER a girl)look it up and bring in the answer later.
Several years ago I had a student
who was talking about a turkey-neck chicken-half turkey and half chicken. His peers laughed at him, and I was skeptical, but I stopped what we were doing and Googled it. Darned if the kid wasn't right.
Wait til the kid does the fire trick at a friend's house and catches the drapes on fire...Those phone calls are always fun...
