Loosely related - a factoid that absent this post comment would find no outlet: The property where my former in-laws built their retirement home was previously owned by a 'middle years' member of the Light Crust Doughboys, whom I met like way back in the late '70s or early '80s. So, I guess that kinda sorta almost makes me Sir The Donald, OTR (Order of the Texas Republic), right?
