- I Believe I Can Fly- set to a punk beat by Me First And The Gimme Gimmes. Great stuff and a cool video with famous cameos.
- It feels great when a cold front is coming and I love the way the air smells.
- Never noticed cold has a smell? Well, it does.
- If they're smart about it the rest of the world could break Iran financially as they try to develop and protect their nuke projects.
- Awful thing to do to the people, but maybe less awful than bombs and missiles.
- Just went out and turned the heater on in the well house for a cold front.
- Bet the world would be more polite if everyone kept a diary of some type.
- An old- old draft I dredged up. Iran has already punked the West over their nuke program like a newbie in Mexican prison but the tree is ours from this year.

Monday's Missives
- The most benign blog writers and posters get the most vicious comments.
- Someone mentioned checking Wise Counties sex offender database and being relieved they didn't know anyone. Although not buddies or anything- I knew three (just knew who they were etc.)
- I have no idea if they are truly guilty- still shocking.
- Edit: I looked again recently- I know 5 of them. People who again, while not buddies I know them and they know me.
- This blog exercise has become an important way to express myself and see how I think about things. Can't say I don't care whether anyone reads it or not but, it's more important to me to see my thoughts in black and white and be forced to slow down, think and commit the words here.
- If you are involved in an accident there are multiple aspects of your care from how you are transported to the treatment you receive in the E.D. that are solely to prevent a lawsuit (or to be one less factor in same) and have literally nothing to do with medical science or your health and well being. Lawyers are dictating that care and those very expensive treatments.
- This Must Be The Place starring Sean Penn- what I'm watching. He plays a retired rocker married to a firefighter who after finding out his father was tortured by the Nazis travels to America where one of the accused lives.
- I had forgotten how good the music is in Zombieland until I re watched a little of it earlier.
- The last words I spoke, I don't care what anybody says- they were great!

I forget the reason for this monster's mug shot. Cops should have been allowed to arrest him randomly- on principle.
I present to you the regal and majestic toad.
- Cool G force training video from Randolph Air Base

Friday's Dispatch
My great grandparents on my mothers side.
- Three things that are incredibly dangerous to do alone that I've done and would never do again but would not trade the experiences for anything: SCUBA diving, camping and duck hunting. The first and last are really pretty much BIG no-nos to do alone and that's what makes them so great solo. Not that it's taboo- it's just you never go duck hunting by yourself so the first time everybody bails on you and you decide you're going no matter what, you can't believe how everything pops out at you. The colors, the sounds (or near lack thereof), the solitude, the fact in the back of your mind you know, one wrong move and these waders will drown me in about a minute...
- Roundtree And York sweater and Underdog pajama pants.
- What I'm wearing.
- Teryiaki Noodles
- What I'm eating.
- I stumbled across a video of Zachary eating a crayfish when he was about two and a half or so. Is it child abouse to let them do something I wouldn't do- on a dare?
- He loves grilled shrimp and so do I, so it's surprising since I have a minor in grillology I've never grilled a shrimp in my life.

Thursday's Thoughts
- Stabbing Westward- What Do I Have To Do?
- I have been wanting a down jacket for our cold weather adventures. I didn't know until I started my research they are sometimes called, "puffer jackets". Uh, not in this lifetime, nor the next.
- The Discovery Channel documentary North America is great- literally beautiful.
- Buzz Feed can be pretty entertaining and their videos funny and interesting but I rarely watch one of them about science or history or those, Did you know... kind of things that don't contain factual errors.
- A management type where I work routinely mispronounces words and misuses expressions in meetings. My kinder, gentler side says I should say something about it to help them better themselves. My self preservational/non confrontational is almost always better side says, Keep your big, fat pie hole shut Kev.
- Track hoes, also called excavators are my favorite type of heavy equipment. They are dirt cheap to operate and since they can dredge, pull stumps, shape slopes, act as cranes, do demolition among a ton of other things are easily the most versatile piece of equipment you can buy. In the video an operator shows how to correctly test an excavator for operability.
- Operability isn't a word?! That is odd.
- Well, it is now.
- On SNL just now I just heard Collin Quinn mispronounce Antigua.
- Thank you so much while maybe not quite as annoying as, Thank you- thank you was back in the 90s is still pretty nerve wracking.

Peter Popoff, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland et al- what monsters- absolute criminals. Good documentary here on a couple of these idiots. However, don't be surprised if you get so angry and/or sad and can't finish it- really, if you have half a heart and brain it will make you sick.
