All of the planets have a town named after them in the United States except for the 7th planet from the sun-Uranus. It doesn't sound fair until you imagine someone replying to the question,"Where are you from?" by saying, "Your anus."

Public Service Announcement

Just one reason we need a safe, plentiful and renewable water supply. I'd cast a vote quicker for someone assuring me of these simple and essential things over some moon base and Mars mission daydreamer any day, for any office . But, I'm in the minority, more and larger lakes with dams that provide power and are built to last generations just don't inspire the awe of throwing trillions of dollars away- so a handful of people can accomplish some dream they've had since winning a science fair in third grade and so some scientists can wow us with some new kind of velcro and dehydrated food that came out of The Space Program.

An Animalistic Moment

This Wolf Spider was photograped near his lair close to my front porch. These guys are great to have around as they love to eat two problem pests specifically: crickets and roaches. When I moved the rock he was actually munching on a cricket.

Another Skunk In Flowerbed

Hard to believe but, I found another skunk in the flowerbed! This one was less stinky though. I took him down to the woods behind the pond and released him- the neighbors looked at me kind of funny. I think they are animal haters or something. They should be more considerate of our neighbors of the woodland realm.
