Hey Katy- Yeah, tarantulas and scorps are cool. In the spring up here is where/when I teach my children to respect the creepy things and show other folks how brave they are by handling them.
OMG, there is nothing worse than smacking a spider and seeing that little black cloud of micro spiders spread from the body.....oofph.
I think I've experienced that about 3-4 times in the last 10 years. I cringe every time the kids smash one...just waiting for the Black Cloud....[shiver]
Haha... I have 13 tarantulas and 15 emperor scorpions.

ReplyDeletePS- I meant the tarantulas- NOT scorpions which in our area are very dangerous...
